Note to friends. Anyone who doesn't know me and is wondering why they're on my list. Here's the reason, I'm writing a YA novel and I thought reading posts of YA's in love would be an excellent way to research YA's in this day and age, their true feelings and such especially about being in love for the first time would make my writing so much more real. So write away! :) I didn't realize just how big texting is with teens! Sheesh!

So many truths of dreams and desires
Held so tight.
Hidden just below the surface
A heart no longer silent
The need to share the reality
Of such purity of essence

You see me as I am
I wear no mask before you
Standing vulnerable, shy, soft, and loving
No pretending, it is very real
I could pretend to be smarter
use bigger words.
But that wouldn't be me.

I need your genuine reaction to the real me.
It feeds me in ways I can't even begin to explain.

I believe more with each passing day,

But what was missing from my soul
